Terms of Use

1. Acceptance

By installing the app, using ow.money, or registering an OW ID, you agree to these terms and to the Risk Disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use the product.

Version 1.0 is effective on 12 October 2026. If this English text differs from a translation, the English text controls.

2. Non-custodial service

OW Wallet is software. We do not take custody of cryptoassets, do not pool deposits, and do not redeem assets for you. You create the keys. You approve every transaction on your device.

If you lose the recovery phrase, we cannot restore the wallet. Funds controlled only by that phrase can be lost. We will not ask you to send the phrase to support.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older. You must not be a person we are prohibited from dealing with under Hong Kong, United Nations, United States, United Kingdom, or European Union sanctions.

You must not use the product if you are in the United States or its territories, or in mainland China. Card purchases and card sales are also not offered to people in the United Kingdom. You are responsible for knowing whether your local law allows the feature you want to use.

4. What the app does

The app can show balances for addresses you control, send a transaction you sign, and open a quote from a third party. A swap, a perpetual contract, a prediction, or a lending action is a transaction between you and that protocol. We are not a party to it, and we do not guarantee a price, a fill, or uptime.

Before you send, you review the recipient and the amount on your device, then you confirm. A confirmation you give is yours.

5. OW ID

A name.ow is a right to use a label that points at public addresses you control. It is not an investment, a security, a deposit, or a promise of profit. One-character names are not offered. Names that impersonate a brand, an exchange, or a public person are blocked, including lookalike letters.

Address labels you type for your own use stay on the device. We do not receive them.

6. Card purchases and sales

If you buy or sell with a card, you leave our software and deal with MoonPay or Transak. Their terms, their identity checks, and their pricing apply. We do not hold the card payment and we do not hold the cryptoassets. A refusal, a delay, or a chargeback is between you and that company.

7. No advice

Nothing in the app, on ow.money, or in a message from us is investment advice, legal advice, tax advice, or a solicitation to buy or sell anything. Perpetual contracts can liquidate a position. Prediction markets can expire worthless. Lending protocols can lose a deposit. You can lose the entire amount.

8. Acceptable use

You will not use the product for crime, sanctions evasion, fraud, or to hide the source of funds. You will not attempt to extract keys from the app, to overload the name service, or to register a name in order to impersonate someone else.

We may refuse a name, disable a feature by remote config, or stop serving the website in a region. We do not need to give a reason where the law forbids us to.

9. Intellectual property

The app, the site, the OW name, and the marks on them belong to Cevtar or its licensors. We grant you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to use the app. You do not receive any other right. Open-source components remain under their own licences.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The app and the site are provided as is. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and uninterrupted operation, to the extent the law allows.

We are not liable for lost keys, a wrong address you approved, a protocol failure, a liquidation, a market move, a card-provider refusal, or an on-chain transaction that cannot be reversed. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that Hong Kong law does not allow us to limit.

11. Changes and governing law

We may post a new version of these terms on this page. The new version applies from the effective date printed on it. If you keep using the product after that date, you accept the new version.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. The courts of Hong Kong have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek urgent relief in another court to protect the service.
